Cookie and device-storage policy

1. Who is responsible

This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used for MetalPic.eu. The controller is MB „Mega Stock“, company code 307008515, Laisvės al. 110, LT-44253 Kaunas, Lithuania. Contact: sales@metalpic.eu; +370 661 69115. Personal-data rights are explained in the Privacy policy.

2. Technologies covered

Cookies are small browser-stored records. Local storage, session storage, pixels, scripts and embedded content can also store or access information or communicate with third parties. Calling something “anonymous”, “functional” or “cookieless” does not by itself remove the need to assess consent and data-protection rules.

Local storage may persist until removed by the site or browser; session storage is normally associated with a browser tab/session. Actual lifetimes and removal conditions must be stated for the implementation, not inferred from a generic vendor list.

3. Necessary functions

Storage strictly necessary for a service you request can operate without optional-cookie consent. Depending on the action, this includes maintaining the basket, securing uploads, preventing duplicate payment attempts, verifying the payment return and recording your consent choice. A user's explicit language choice may also require a narrowly scoped preference record.

The exemption is assessed for each purpose and record. It does not make every WordPress, WooCommerce, social-network or payment-related tracker “necessary”. Rejecting optional tracking must not empty the basket or disable essential payment and upload protections.

4. Optional technologies

Analytics helps evaluate use of the site; advertising technologies can measure campaigns and build audiences; third-party media embeds can contact external platforms. When these optional purposes are offered, they remain off until you actively select them. Consent must be specific and informed. We do not activate unspecified “miscellaneous” trackers while their purpose is still unknown.

An ordinary external link is different from an embedded player or tracking script. Following a link takes you to another provider's service and notice. Optional embeds must not silently contact the provider before the applicable choice. Payment on the external Paysera page has its own provider information; our banner is not blanket consent to tracking on every external service.

5. Actual inventory

The inventory below identifies each active technology or accurately defined group, provider and domain, purpose, data, category, lifetime/removal conditions and whether consent is required. It covers local and session storage as well as cookies. Only deployed and verified entries belong here:

Exact cookie / localStorage / sessionStorage keys, domains and lifetimes must be shown in Cookie Settings based on the actual production configuration.

The inventory is updated when purposes or providers change.

6. Your choices

On your first visit, the consent tool offers Accept all, Reject optional and Settings. Accepting and rejecting optional technologies are equally accessible. Optional categories are off by default. Continuing to browse, scrolling, closing the banner or leaving it unanswered does not constitute consent.

In Settings, you can select optional categories and save the choice. Strictly necessary functions are explained separately and cannot be disabled through optional-consent switches. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer at any time, change a choice or withdraw consent without a fee. Withdrawal stops the relevant future optional processing and removes controllable optional records where appropriate; it does not retrospectively invalidate prior lawful processing.

We retain an appropriate record of the choice and policy version, for the period disclosed in the inventory. A material new purpose requires a new choice, not automatic reuse of an old acceptance. Cookie consent is separate from purchase terms, a newsletter subscription and permission to publish photographs.

7. Browser controls and contact

Your browser can block or remove stored data. Deleting essential data may reset the basket, language choice or payment-return context. Refusing optional categories alone must not have those effects. Browser settings do not replace our duty to obtain consent where required.
