Purchase terms
Effective date: 2026-09-23
1. Seller and scope
The seller operating MetalPic.eu is MB „Mega Stock“, company code 307008515, registered address Laisvės al. 110, LT-44253 Kaunas, Lithuania. Contact: sales@metalpic.eu; +370 661 69115. This address is also for correspondence; please arrange any in-person visit or parcel return with us in advance. This does not restrict your right to send a complaint or withdrawal notice.
VAT information: MB „Mega Stock“ is VAT-registered in Lithuania. VAT number: LT100017321310. Consumer prices are shown in euro and include applicable VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.
These terms cover consumer purchases. MetalPic offers products personalised with a customer's photograph or text. MetalPic gallery designs may also be offered: the customer chooses a standard image displayed on the website and the physical product is printed only after the order is received. The fact that such a gallery product is manufactured after order does not by itself make it legally personalised. Mounts or stands may be sold separately. No standalone digital photo-editing service is sold.
2. Placing an order and concluding the contract
Before placing your order, check the product, size, orientation, mounting, uploaded photographs, additional services, text, delivery details and total price. You can correct these details before submitting the order. You must have the legal capacity to conclude the contract or the necessary authorisation.
The contract is concluded when you place the order and full payment is confirmed. An order-receipt message or a return from the payment page is not, by itself, confirmation of payment. We provide the order details and the applicable terms in a durable form, such as email. The version applicable when the contract was concluded governs that order; later amendments do not retrospectively change it.
If a technical error, unavailable material or an apparent pricing error prevents fulfilment as agreed, we contact you. We do not substitute a different product, increase an agreed price or charge an extra amount without your agreement. Where the contract cannot be performed, the statutory cancellation and refund rights remain available.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in euros. The consumer total includes applicable taxes; delivery and any selected paid extras are shown before you commit to payment. The final total is the amount confirmed at checkout. No paid extra is added solely by a preselected option.
Payment is processed through Paysera. The payment methods actually available are shown by Paysera for that transaction; cards, wallets or particular banks are not guaranteed for every country or order. Full prepayment is required. Cash on delivery is not offered. We do not ask you to send card security codes or online-banking passwords by email or message.
4. Photographs and proof approval
You must have the necessary rights to the photographs, designs and text you provide. For a standard print with no additional editing service, where the supplied file is suitable for production, we may proceed after checking suitability using the file as supplied, without separate proof approval. If we identify a problem, we contact the customer before production.
Where quality enhancement, background replacement, restoration, combining people, AI changes or another image-changing service is ordered, we send the result / proof for approval before production. Approval may be given through WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger, email or another agreed written channel. Such an order is not printed until express approval is received; if the customer cannot be reached, the timeframe is extended accordingly.
A purchase does not authorise publication of the photograph or finished work. Publication takes place only after separate permission.
5. Production, delivery and care
An order is normally prepared for dispatch within 48 hours after confirmed payment, provided no customer approval or additional material is outstanding. Where approval of an edited proof is required, the 48-hour production period normally runs from receipt of that approval. If the customer cannot be reached, the timeframe may be extended until a response is received. Delivery time is additional.
6. Changes, cancellation and withdrawal
Contact us as soon as possible if you want to change or cancel an order.
The 14-day no-reason right of withdrawal does not apply to goods genuinely made to the customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised, for example a product bearing the customer's own photograph or individual text.
A MetalPic gallery product where the customer merely chooses a standard image offered on the website and standard options is not automatically personalised merely because it is printed after the order. Such a non-personalised distance-sale product generally carries the 14-day right of withdrawal unless another lawful exception applies. If the gallery product is additionally personalised with the customer's photo, text or another individual change, the personalised-goods exception may apply.
7. Defects and statutory remedies
You are entitled to goods that conform to the contract. Statutory protection is at least two years from delivery, without limiting longer periods or stronger mandatory rights under applicable national law. Free repair or replacement and, in the circumstances provided by law, a price reduction or termination with a refund are available. See the Returns policy. Any voluntary commercial guarantee is additional, not a substitute.
8. Personal data and cookies
The Privacy policy explains processing of order details and photographs. The Cookie policy explains device storage and optional tracking. Acknowledging a privacy notice is not blanket consent to all processing. Marketing, optional tracking and publicity use of customer photographs require their own appropriate choices and are not conditions for purchasing.
9. Complaints and disputes
Send complaints to sales@metalpic.eu or the correspondence address above, identifying the order, problem and requested remedy. We provide a reasoned written response within 14 calendar days of receiving a consumer complaint. This response period does not shorten any statutory remedy deadline.
If unresolved, you may apply to the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT), vvtat.lrv.lt, or seek assistance from the European Consumer Centre in your country for a cross-border dispute. Your rights to use a competent court or another competent dispute-resolution body are preserved. The former EU ODR platform is no longer used.
10. Applicable law and changes
Lithuanian law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection available under the law of their country of habitual residence where applicable. These terms do not impose exclusive Lithuanian court jurisdiction or give one translation priority over mandatory consumer rights. Unavoidable events are assessed under applicable law; they do not automatically permit us to retain payment or exclude all liability. Updated terms apply to future contracts and are identified by their effective date.
